Privacy policy

We respect your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we use it, who we share it with and what rights you have.

Last updated: 2 November 2026.

1. Who controls your data

The controller of your personal data is Katarzyna Pawlak, trading as onMYhand.eu, ul. Dąbrowskiego 7/13, 60-838 Poznań, Poland.

For any question about privacy or data protection, write to sale@onmyhand.eu.

2. What we collect and why

We process the data we need to run the shop, fulfil orders and look after our customers. This may include:

  • Personal and contact details: your name, delivery address, email address and phone number, used to handle your order and contact you about it.
  • Order details: the products and sizes you chose, the details of your order and information about its fulfilment.
  • Payment information: details of the transaction and its status. We do not store full card details.
  • Correspondence: messages you send us about an order, a question or a complaint.
  • Technical data: information about how you use the website, such as your IP address, device data and information stored in cookies.

We use this data to fulfil orders, handle payments and delivery, contact you, deal with complaints, meet our accounting obligations, and keep the shop secure and working properly. Depending on the purpose, we rely on one of the legal bases in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR): performing our contract with you, meeting our legal obligations, our legitimate interests in running and protecting the shop, or your consent. For marketing, we use your data only where we have a proper legal basis and, where required, your consent.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell our customers' personal data. Where needed to run the shop, we share it with trusted service providers who work for us, in particular:

  • Shopify, the platform that runs our online shop and processes payments;
  • payment providers, to process transactions;
  • our delivery partners, to deliver your order;
  • providers of accounting and IT services, where their involvement is needed to run the shop.

Data may also be processed by providers of analytics or marketing tools, if such tools are used in the shop.

4. Storage and transfers outside the EEA

We keep your data for as long as we need it for the purposes it was collected for, and for as long as required to meet our accounting and tax obligations and to deal with any claims.

Because some of our service providers work internationally, some data may be processed in or transferred to countries outside the European Economic Area. In those cases the safeguards required by law are applied, such as standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

5. Your rights

Where the law provides for them, you have the right to:

  • access your data and receive a copy of it;
  • have your data corrected or completed;
  • ask for your data to be erased;
  • restrict how your data is processed;
  • data portability;
  • object to certain kinds of processing;
  • withdraw your consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.

Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before you withdrew it. We may need to keep some data where the law requires it.

To use any of these rights, write to sale@onmyhand.eu.

If you believe your data is being processed unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. In Poland this is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw. You can also contact the supervisory authority in the country where you live or work.

6. Cookies

The shop uses cookies that are essential for the website, the basket and checkout to work.

Depending on the shop's settings, analytics, functional and marketing cookies may also be used. Cookies that need your consent are only used once you have given it. You can manage your choices through the cookie banner on the website or in your browser settings. More in our cookie policy.

7. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data from loss, unauthorised access, disclosure or misuse. Access to data is limited to the people and service providers who need it to do their work.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the way the shop works, the services we use or data protection requirements change. The current version is always available on onmyhand.eu.
